Health Records is one of the fastest growing segments in the health care industry. Move forward in your career with the Health Records Diploma program. As a specialist in health records, your responsibility will be to obtain and record accurate information, then process and file it. Every visit and every procedure is carefully documented.
You will learn basic medical terminology, patient chart organization and how to work within the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA). You are taught how to work with health insurance carriers and claims, and use electronic medical records systems in hospitals and physicians' offices.
