PENN FOSTER CAREER SCHOOL Distance Learning & Online Career Diplomas
Landscaper Diploma
You are an avid gardener who can spend upwards of eight hours a day planting and pruning. Springtime is your favorite time of the year. The daffodils and tulips are blooming and the smell of lilacs fills the air. It will not be long before the roses are budding and the irises are poking up from the garden. You are so passionate about gardening that you want to become a landscaper. Penn Foster Career School can plant the seed that leads to a great, rewarding career. All you need to do is enroll in the Landscaper program.
You will learn the essentials of plant health, soil, and fertilizers. You will develop the knack to service garden tractors and other tools. You will learn to create landscape designs, including specialty landscaping. This includes landscaping around pools and ponds as well as developing rock gardens. You can learn all this without having to leave your house (garden) or rearrange your schedule.
You will find yourself able to work for an established landscaping firm or you can even start your own business and take on the projects and clients that appeal to you. The great news is that "landscapers should find plentiful job opportunities in the future. Demand for their services is growing and many employers have difficulty attracting enough workers to fill all openings, creating very good job opportunities*."
Watch your career grow in a whole new direction.
